Mary Hullinger

MARY A. HULLINGER, 84, died at 3:05 a.m. January 24, 2007, at St. Rita's Medical Center. She was born September 23, 1922, in Tennessee to Benjamin and Effie Wood Halsell, who preceded her in death. In July 1956, in Indiana, she married Robert M. Hullinger, who died April 15, 1992. Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Kay (Tom) Burkholder, of Elida, Ohio; a son, Thomas Edwin Walker, of Kenton, Ohio; two sisters, Pauline Halsell Profitt, of Celina, Tennessee, and Rachel Halsell Norris, of Louisville, Kentucky; a brother, Bob (Jeannie) Halsell, of Kenton, Ohio; three grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews, including Teresa Thompson, of Lima, Ohio. She was preceded in death by eight siblings, Buford Halsell, Nemo Halsell, Beulah Halsell, Nadine Halsell, Fletcher Halsell, Elwyn Halsell, James Halsell and Frank Halsell. Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Gary Hohman will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
