MARY ELIZABETH BOOP JACKSON, 80, died at 12:15 a.m. August 18, 2006, at Lima Memorial Health System. She was born November 25, 1925, in Piqua, Ohio to John and Dora Poling Boop, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Jackson was a doctor's assistant working in the Lima system and surrounding areas and was actively involved with Lima City School District. She was a member of the National Federation of Republican Women and a life member of the National Congress of Parents and Teachers. Survivors include two nephews, Roy (Margaret) Boop of Lima, Ohio and Larry (Jean) Killen of Ottawa, Ohio; a niece, Delores (James) Bartlett of Alger, Ohio; a son, Terry Lynn Jackson of Texas; and good friends, Julie and John Pfeister, and Dora and Greg Worten. She was preceded in death by two infant children; two brothers, Charles Edward Boop and Roy Boop; and three sisters, Goldie Killen, Grace Brumfield, and Marion Green. Graveside services will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at Fletcher Cemetery, Lima. Brother Lloyd Salyers will officiate. There will be no visitation.
