Mary Jean Kundert

Mary Jean Kundert, 85, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022. She was born on July 11, 1937 in Lima to Lev and Edith {Bartlett} Jones.

Mary was a lifetime member of Orioles Next 173. She was also a member of the Eagles and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.  She loved her dog Dixie and cooking for holidays and being together at family gatherings. She enjoyed fantasy football and making cookies for her neighborhood friends.

She is survived by her children: Jeff (Robyn) Kundert, Rick (Maggie) Kundert, Jim Kundert, and Jenney (Mark) Rice, grandchildren: Justin (Tara), Corey (Amanda), and Caleb Kundert, Brandon (Kendra) Kundert, and Maggie and Sam Rice, and great-grandson: Silas Kundert.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dick Kundert, brother Don Jones, and longtime companion Jack Courtney.

Her family will receive friends on Monday, August 15, 2022 from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m. at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.  The funeral will follow at 1:00 p.m.  Private graveside services will be on held at Memorial Park Mausoleum.
