Mary A. Kelly

Mary Kelly, 67, passed away at 12:14 a.m. on February 20, 2024, at St. Rita’s Medical Center. 

Mary was born on August 22, 1956, in Lima, Ohio, to Ernest and Della (Crayton) Kelly. 

Mary loved to spend time with family and cooking, especially soul food. She had a big heart, and her love was unconditional. Mary enjoyed spending time with the love of her life, Tony Cody, for the last 33 years. She was a people person and loved going to church. She liked flowers and watching TV, especially “Days of Our Lives”.

She is survived by her children, Eric Kelly, Willie James Reynolds Jr.; grandchildren, Willie James Reynolds III, Ja’Kiya Reynolds, Demitrius Kelly, La’Miya Bankston, Myi-ericka Kelly, Enyilah Kelly, and Eric Kelly Jr.; siblings, Gloria Kelly, Theodore Kelly, Terry Kelly, Carlene Kelly, Donna Kelly, David Kelly, Florence Kelly, Carol Kelly, and Ernest Lee Kelly. 

She was preceded in death by her parents. 

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on March 1, 2024, at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 328 E. 4th St., Lima, Ohio.  The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m.  Rev. David Kelly and Rev. Theodore Kelly will officiate.  Burial will follow at Shawnee Cemetery, Lima. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for funeral expenses.
