89, died at 9:23 AM on Monday, December 16, 2013, at Richland Manor in Bluffton, Ohio.
Mary Anna Lee was born on January 16, 1924, in Mercer Co., Ohio, to the late Albert Bader and Amelia Klopfleisch.
Mary married James E. Linn on February 16, 1946. He preceded her in death on June 1, 2000 after 54 years of marriage. She retired from Shawnee Schools in the Food Service Department. But anyone who knew her was aware that her calling in life was caring for others, wherever she saw a need. Her compassion was genuine as she put in practice what it means to do Christlike work here on earth. She was a member of New Creations Lutheran Church.
She is survived by a daughter Cheryl Frazier of Lima, OH; a granddaughter Gina (James) Coker of Atlanta, GA; three great grandchildren Amelia, Reese and Charlie Coker; a foster son Todd (KCee) Coil of Columbus, OH and nine nieces & nephews.
In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by a son Douglas who died in 1971 and eight brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.
A funeral service will begin at 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at New Creations Lutheran Church in Lima, OH with Rev. Sam Payne officiating.
Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to New Creations Lutheran Church.
