MARY ANNE NASH ROSS, 83, died at 4:35 p.m. on December 19, 2010, at Lima Memorial Health System in Lima, Ohio. She was born December 12, 1927, in Delphos, Ohio, to Carl Nash and Nellie Tilton Nash, who have preceded her in death. On July 24, 1948, she married Robert Ross, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mrs. Ross was a graduate of Delphos-Jefferson High School, Delphos, Ohio, and St. Rita?s School of Nursing, Lima, Ohio. She retired in 1991 as a registered nurse from Lima Memorial Health System, where she was the clinical manager of 5 South. She was a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church, Lima, Ohio and its Altar Rosary Society. She was a member of St. Rita?s Medical Center Auxiliary. She was a volunteer nurse at the Health Department and a parish nurse at St. Charles Catholic Church. She loved to read. Her great spirit of sacrifice was known by all of her family and friends. Her deep faith constantly sustained her. Survivors also include four sons, Father David Ross, of Lima, Ohio, Jack (Cindy) Ross, of Chicago, Illinois, Dennis (Jan) Ross, of North Canton, Ohio, and Dr. Stephen (Amy) Ross, of Roanoke, Indiana; and seven grand-children, Julie, Jon, Alyssa, Christian, Olivia, Isabelle and Noah. She was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Nash; and a sister, Martha Jo Hughes. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 23, 2010, at St. Gerard Catholic Church. Father David M. Ross will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
