Mary Patricia "Pat" Stippich, 86 of Lima, Ohio died on Thursday, September 1, 2011, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio.

She was born Friday, July 3, 1925 in Lima, Ohio, to William Francis O'Neill and Alberta M. McPheron O'Neill who preceded her in death. She married James Richard Stippich on January 24, 1946. He died April 27, 1995.

Pat passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She was a life long member of St. Gerard's Catholic Church where she served as organist for 64 years. Pat received a Papal Blessing form Pope John Paul II for her years of service at the church. She was a member of the Elks Golf League and Elks Bowling League for many years. She volunteered at St. Rita's Medical Center and was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary. She was devoted to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving are sons, James "Mike" (Karen) Stippich of Marietta, GA; William "Bill" (Cindy) Stippich of Lima, OH and Robert (Chrissy) Stippich of Lima, OH; daughters, Sandy (Louie) Wisniewski of Jackson, MI; Diane (Tom) Rothers of Chagrin Falls, OH; Nancy (Mike) Mazur of Wapakoneta, OH; Jan (Jeff) Bates of Perrysburg, OH and Beth (Art) Hohman of Westlake, OH and a brother, Eugene "Duck" ( Ann) O'Neill of Brooklyn, MI.

She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren, April (Conrad) Abraham; Erik (Roseann) Stippich; Michael Stippich; Paul (Lindsay) Stippich; Brian (Dawn) Wisniewski; Kristin (Todd) McMinn; Paula Causie; Nicole (Jackson) Goodnight; Tiffany Mazur; Abby (Bryan) Burnett; Austin Hohman; Emma Hohman and Brandon Hohman and 12 great-grandchildren, Skylar; Trinity; Van; Addison; Sabrina; Madelyn; Alex; Nathan; Rebecca; Landon; Kayle and Rylynn and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by brothers and sister-in-law, Edward (Dolores) O'Neill and J. Thomas O'Neill.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 6 at St. Gerard's Catholic Church with Father James Szobonya officiating. Interment will be in Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima, OH.

Friends may call Monday, September 5 from 2:00 PM to 8:PM at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home where a parish wake service will be held at 7:00 PM.
