Mary Mildred Walters,
98, of Lima, Ohio died on Saturday, February 23, 2013, at 6:25 p.m. at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio.
Born September 12, 1914 in Putnam County, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Watkin Arthur and the late Margaret (Paul) Arthur.
Mary married Lawrence Donald "Larry" Walters on June 25, 1938. He preceded her in death on May 31, 1999. She was a former member of the Gomer United Church of Christ, and a graduate of Gomer High School. She was a homemaker but was formerly a switch board operator at the Lima State Hospital.
Surviving are: a daughter, Judy Ann Blatz of Lima, OH; four grandchildren, Jamie (Tammy) Edwards, Jon (Elizabeth) Edwards, Laura (Randy) Ricker and Larry (Doris) Setty, Jr.; eight great grandchildren, David Edwards, Drew Edwards, Derick (Ashley) Edwards, Christine Ricker, Justin Ricker, Jeffrey Ricker, Samuel Setty and Ruth Setty; a brother, Carlyle (Donna) Arthur of Gomer, OH.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. with Captain Larry Setty, Jr. officiating.
Interment will be in Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Lima, OH.
