Mary Elizabeth Winters

Age 99, of Lima passed away at 11:15 am, Friday, July 20, 2018 at Mercy Health Systems St. Rita’s. Mary was born on July 12, 1919 in rural Waynesfield, Ohio to the late Lyman F. Focht and Mrytle (Green) Focht.

On June 6th 1940 she married Howard W. Winters who preceded her in death.

Mary is survived by two children Steven (Wilma) Winters of Lima, Ohio and Lesley (John) King of Henderson, Nevada. Mary is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, one sister Jo Ruth Oppenheim of Hilton Head S.C. and a daughter-in-law Karen Winters of Holt MI.

She was preceded in death by her eldest son David and a brother Morris Focht.

Mary was a member of Cable Road Alliance Church.

Per Mary’s request there will be no visitation.

Arrangements are by Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
