Maureen Ruth Howard, 63, died November 12, 2010, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center, Cookeville, Tenn. She was born July 29, 1947, in Buffalo, New York, to Harry and Gladys Strobl Mulholland, who preceded her in death. She married John P. Howard, who survives in Byrdstown, Tenn. Mrs. Howard was a member of Emmanuel Catholic Church in Albany, Kentucky. She and her husband, John, owned Davis Glass in Lima, Ohio for 30 years. She lived most of her life in Toledo and Lima. Survivors also include a daughter, Marianne Moats, of Lima, Ohio; a mother-in-law, Virginia Howard, of Byrdstown, Tenn.; a sister-in-law, Virginia Mills, of Byrdstown, Tenn.; two brothers, Paul Geber, of Snow Camp, North Carolina, and Michael Mulholland, of Toledo, Ohio; two grandchildren, Casey John Moats and Kelcie Irene Moats; and several nieces and nephews, and many friends and family. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Maureen Howard; and grandparents, Casey and Florance Strobl. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. The Rev. Joseph Sekere will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima. Friends may call from 9 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
