Maxine Francis Cady, 94 of Lima, Ohio died at 5:15 PM on Friday, December 7, 2012, at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home
She was born Thursday, September 12, 1918 in Lima to the late Charles M McClain and the late Mabel Lippencott McClain. She married James Louis Cady on March 11, 1955 they had been married 53 years he is deceased.
Mrs. Cady was a homemaker. She had previously worked at Lima tank depot and Omar bakery. She was a member of Allen County 1st family. Most proud of being president of PTA at Emerson School and North Junior High School. She also was a member of Eastern Star and El Karan Caldron. She had been active in Girl Scouts. She enjoyed Western Square Dancing.
Her hobbies were sewing and working with her flowers, her children would say moving her Bricks. She enjoyed her family and grandchildren.
Surviving are her children Barbara (Joe) Binkley, Jim (Leslie) Cady, Betty (Glenn) Mumper-Bresler, Bev (Max) Zizelman, and David (Pat) Cady . She is also survived by Eighteen grandchildren, Forty-six great-grandchildren and Twenty-one great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Chuck Cady.
A Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Ayers officiating.
Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, OH.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, December 11, 2012. An Eastern Star service will follow visitation at 8:00 P.M.
