96 of Lima, Ohio died on Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at Lima Convalescent Home in Lima, Ohio.
Born Saturday, May 1, 1915 in Willshire, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late James Case and the late Gladys Cully Case. She was the wife of the late William Collins.
She married William Lee Collins on July 21, 1938. He preceded her in death on December 21, 1989. She was formerly a member of First United Brethren. She worked for the Lima City School Cafeterias for many years. She liked The Ohio State Buckeyes, the San Antonio Spurs, and the Lima Senior Spartans. She loved to plant flowers, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving are daughters, Joyce (Larry) Barker of Lima, OH, Jennie (Arthur) Cheek of Palmetto, FL and Jo Ellen Collins of Lima, OH, , three grandchildren, Lori (Derek) Lisaula, Lisa (Frank) Ketron, Audra Cheek, and four great grandchildren; Naresa Lisaula Dominic Lisaula, Brayden Ketron, and Landen Ketron. and a sister, Phyllis Pollock of Lima, OH;
She was predeceased by 5 brothers, Russell Case, Chester Case, Paul Case, Robert Case and Chester Case, and 2 sisters, Effie Yinger and Jenese Hollar.
A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Friday at the Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with the Rev. Howard Allison officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, OH.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, May 19, 2011, at the Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be sent to Lima Convalescent Nursing Home.
