Maxine Miller

MAXINE E. MILLER, 87, died at 4:10 p.m. May 18, 2006, at St. Rita's Medical Center. She was born Aug. 25, 1918, in Ada to Frank and Leta Neal Parr Irwin, who preceded her in death. In 1937, she married Bruce Miller, who died Sept. 25, 1999. Mrs. Miller was a homemaker. Survivors include three sons, John C. (Ellen) Miller of Gretna, La., and Larry B. (Nancy) Miller and Dennis E. (Mary Beth) Miller, both of Lima; eight grandchildren, Deborah Oney, Terri Bladsacker, Kimberly A. Duddy, Gregory B. Miller, Elizabeth A. Caudill, Christopher J. Miller, Joshua M. Miller and Jason M. Miller; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Annabelle Hooks. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Jeffery J. and Jeffery B. Miller; and a sister, Madeline Gilbert. Private family services will be held today at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Bryan Bucher will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
