Maysie Lea Rowlett,
81 of Lima, Ohio died on Saturday, March 24, 2012, at 6:26 p.m. at Lima Memorial Health System in Lima, Ohio.
Born Thursday, April 17, 1930 in Hancock Co., Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Grant Hurd and the late Myrtle Owens Hurd.
Mrs. Rowlett worked as a clerk at Norfolk & Western Railroad, retiring in 1992. She was a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle Church. She loved flower gardening, traveling, and attending church. She loved her family very much.
Surviving is a daughter, Barbara Rowlett of Dayton, OH; four sons, Michael Rowlett of Bellevue, OH, Richard (Brendal) Rowlett of Willard, OH, Robert Rowlett of Howell, MI and Joseph Rowlett of Las Vegas, NM; ; twelve grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; a twin sister Maxie Rea Bantner one brother, Pascal (Irene) Hurd of Germantown, OH.
She was predeceased by son, Glen Rowlett who died in 1978; three sisters, Ruby Lewis, Pansy Moloney, Vera Lynch; a brother Ralph Hurd.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Full Gospel Tabernacle, 1520 Stewart Rd., Lima, Ohio
Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Full Gospel Tabernacle. Pastor Ed Jarrell will officiate.
Interment will be in Allentown Cemetery, Allentown, OH.
