Melissa Marie Prine,

40, passed away at 8:01 PM on Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at Lima Memorial Hospital.

Melissa was born on Saturday, October 4, 1975, in Lima. Her mother Cynthia (Prine) Steiner, survives in Lima.

Melissa enjoyed reading, cooking and especially making homemade pizzas. She loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by: her step father, Jose Silva; sisters, Alicia Steiner, Lima and Adriana Steiner, Lima; brothers, Richard Steiner, Huntsville and Jose' Steiner, Ft. Wayne; sons, Brandon Jarvis, Travis Jarvis, Aaron Aller, Carlos Maldonado, Ethan Roth and Anthony Balderas-Prine; daughters, Kiersten Roth, Samantha Balderas-Prine and Sasha Balderas-Prine; four, grandchildren, Eli, Konnor, Bentley and Emmitt; close friends, Corine, Beth and Nicki; special nephew, Zy and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by: a son, Austin Prine and maternal grandmother, Leah Hoffman.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 6 PM on Monday, March 7, 2016 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A memorial service will begin at 6 PM on Monday, March 7, 2016 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio. Father David Ross will officiate.
