Melissa R. Reynolds

Melissa R. Reynolds, 53, passed away and went to be with the Lord in the early morning of Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at St. Rita's Medical Center. 

She stayed strong and maintained her faith throughout her battle with COPD. Missy was born in Lima, Ohio, at Memorial Hospital on November 10, 1970. 

Missy will be remembered as a devoted mother who always put her children first and a loving grandmother who cherished spending time with her grandchildren. Missy had a heart for people and did what she could to help others. She had a social personality and took great joy in serving others at her job as a waitress. She enjoyed spending her nights watching movies with her family at home making jokes and creating cherished memories. Her family resides in Lima, Ohio, today. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth J. Reynolds, who passed in 2008. Her mother, Eva Doreen Reynolds, 73, survives her and resides in Columbus Grove. Also surviving are her children: Megan, Julian, Madison, and Abigayle Hefner, and her two brothers, Kenneth J. Reynolds II and David L. Reynolds.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 9, 2024 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. with a brief service starting at 7:30 p.m. Rev. Timothy White will officiate.
