65, died at 12:30 PM on Saturday, August 6, 2016, at his residence in Alger, Ohio.

Michael was born on Monday, July 2, 1951, in Lima, to the late Raymond Jr. and Evelyn (Dunahay) Ball.

Michael was retired from the Village of Alger. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed visiting with them.

He is survived by: a son, Michael D. Ball, Lima; grandchildren, Michael E. (Maranda) Ball II, Dean A. Ball and Tessa K. Ball; great grandchildren, Carter M. Ball and Aryiah F. Ball; a brother, Alex R. (Anita) Ball; sisters, Evelyn L. (Joe) Bowers, Lima, Bettie J. (Jim) Foust, Lima, Jerrie L. (Ray) Custer, Lima, Jackquiline A. Howard, McGuffey, Denise R. (Rod) Moening, Lima, Patricia L. Wells, Alma, NE, and Cynthia K. Woodward, Lima and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by: brothers, David E. Ball and Richard E. Ball.

The family will receive friends from 2 PM to 8 PM on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A funeral service will begin at 11AM on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio. Interment will be in Shawnee Cemetery, Lima, Ohio. Graveside military honors will be conducted by V.F.W. Post 1275.
