80 of Lima, Ohio died on Saturday, May 19, 2012, at 10:39 A.M. at Lima Memorial Health System in Lima, Ohio.
Born Tuesday, August 4, 1931, in Lima, Ohio, he was the son of the late Metro George and the late Anna Ebashfaelen George.
Mr. George married Joyce Stepek on April 17, 1952. She survives in Lima. He was an Air Force veteran and served during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of St. Gerard's Catholic Church and the Eagles Aerie #370.
Surviving are: four sons, Mike (Ronda) George of Lima, OH, Anthony George of Canal Winchester, OH, Nick George of Lima, OH and Matt George of Columbus, OH; two daughters, Shelly (Doug) Sanders of Lima, OH, and Lisa McClellan of Ft. Wayne, IN; twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son.
A private family service will be held at the Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with the Father Michael Huston officiating.
Interment will be in Cairo East Cemetery, Cairo, Ohio.
