Michael A. Huffer

Michael A. Huffer, 33, passed away on June 8, 2022, at his home in Lima.  Michael was born on April 19, 1989 in Lima, Ohio to Alan & Cathy (Cox) Huffer who survive in Lima.

Michael was a 2007 graduate of Lima Senior High and attended Eastern Michigan University.  He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Michael enjoyed cooking, Michigan football, time with his nieces and nephews, and he loved his dog, Porter.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Jeremy (Olivia) Huffer; sister, Jessica (John) Sideris; nieces and nephews: Isabelle Sideris, Alexandra Sideris, Dante Huffer, and Adrian Huffer; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Walter and Edith Huffer, and maternal grandparents, Harold and Avonnah Cox.

A memorial service will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.  Rev. Megan Croy will officiate.  Visitation will be one hour prior to service from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church or Allen County Humane Society.
