62, of Lima, Ohio died on Friday, June 22, 2012, at 10:59 A.M. St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio.
He was born Saturday, August 13, 1949 in Lima, Ohio. He was the grandson of the late Beatrice Anderson.
Mr. Maus married Susan K. Recker on October 4, 2008 in Lima, Ohio. She survives in Lima, Ohio. Mr. Maus was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He worked as a Maintenance Technician. He enjoyed hunting and bowling. He loved watching good movies. He was a jack of all trades.
Surviving are: six daughters, Mindy (Don) Gilbert of Lima, OH, Kristin Johnson of Lima, OH, Alicia (Mike) Fitzpatrick of Texas, Bethany (Jon) Theis of Bluffton, OH, Susan (John) Egri of Lima, OH and Natasha (Maurice) Jackson of Lima, OH a son, Joseph (Cindy) Recker of Ada,OH; twenty two grandchildren; and one great granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Marissa K. Jackson.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, June 25, 2012, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
A Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Tisch officiating.
