Michael was born on May 30, 1948, in Lima, Ohio, to James McPheron and Catherine (Garner) McPheron, they survive in Lima.
Michael graduated from Lima Central Catholic in 1966 and then joined the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War. Michael liked to tinker with everything and was great at computer programming. He was a member of the VFW. He worked at Proctor & Gamble until he became ill.
He is survived by two brothers, Thomas (Janet) McPheron and James McPheron Jr; two sisters Debbie Vandivier and Mary Fredericks; four nieces and nephews; eight great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.
A funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, OH. Father Jim Szobonya will officiate.
Interment will be in Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
