Michael Money

Michael Money, 51, passed away at 11:24 am on June 11, 2024 at his home. 

Michael was born on October 25, 1972 in Lima, Ohio, to Jack Welch and Gail (Money) Shellenbarger. On September 24, 2014, he married Christina (Minton) Money who survives in Lima.

Michael owned Money Drywall and worked as a drywaller. He enjoyed shooting pool, fishing, throwing horse shoes, and hanging out with all of his friends. Mike was a member of the Orioles.

He is survived by his father, Jack Welch; step-children, Chasity Ruhlen and Joshua Holmes; siblings, Patty (Chuck Goodman) Money; step-brother, Allen Newland, niece Desiree Long, four great nieces and three great- nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Gail (Money) Shellenbarger; stepfather, Roger Shellenbarger, and nephew, Nathan Whitaker.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
