Mildred Adams

Mildred Marie Adams 94, died at 8:20 p.m. January 11, 2008, at Lima Manor Nursing Home. She was born April 21, 1913, in Piqua, Ohio to Charles and Amelia Bryan Spayd, who preceded her in death. On October 8, 1934, she married Charles E. Adams, who died January 11, 1990. Mrs. Adams was a homemaker. She was a member of American Legion Post 96, and was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275 Auxiliary. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370 Auxiliary and St. Mark?s United Methodist Church. Survivors include special friends, Helen and Harold Miller; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles Spayd, Aaron Spayd and Robert Spayd; and a sister, Kathryn Sedlack. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Howard Allison will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, Ohio. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
