MILDRED JOANNE KITCHEN, 98, died at 8:53 a.m. on December 20, 2010, at her residence in Lima, Ohio. She was born September 6, 1912, in Chemnitz, Germany, to Alois Neumeier and Anna Prochaska Neumeier, who have preceded her in death. On September 9, 1933, she married Paul Henry Kitchen, who died October 23, 2005. They had been married for 72 years. Mrs. Kitchen helped at the polling booths for several years. She was a wonderful cook and loved her flowers. She took care of her family, friends and loved ones, because she loved them all. Survivors include three daughters, Janice (Bill) Grisham, of Moses Lake, Washington, Darlene (Myron) Offenbacher, of Lima, Ohio, and Charlene R. (John) Bishop, of Belle Center, Ohio; a brother, Robert Neumeier, of Ada, Ohio; two brothers-in-law, Ray (Pauline) Kitchen and Jim Kitchen; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Covault; 12 grandchildren, Tom Grisham, Doris Grisham, Paula Jones, Vicki (Ron) Grisham, Bunnie Kramer, Elaine Worden, Pete (Loretta) Kramer, Ann Marie (Simon) Daniels, Jason (Sara) Offenbacher, Paul (Sandi) Bishop, John Wesley Bishop II and Adam (Jennifer) Bishop; and 36 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Glenn Kramer; a sister and brother-in-law, Lydia and Carl Binkley; a brother, John Neumeier; a sister-in-law, Jeanette Neumeier; a grandchild, Ann Grisham; and a great-grandchild, Maureen Bishop. Services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 27, 2010 at Cham-berlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, in Lima, Ohio. Pastor James Neighbors will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, Ohio. Friends may call from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 26, 2010 at the funeral home.
