Mildred McCall

MILDRED I. McCALL, 90, died at 4:50 a.m. November 14, 2005, at Van Wert County Hospital, Van Wert, Ohio. She was born April 2, 1915, in Hardin County, Ohio to Fred and Inis Vermillion Shepherd, who preceded her in death. On July 25, 1940, she married Carl McCall, who died September 22, 1986. Mrs. Shepherd was a homemaker and had worked for several years at the American Coin Laundromat. She was a charter member of Forest Park United Methodist Church. Survivors include a granddaughter, Kimberly (John) Keeling of Delphos, Ohio; a grandson, Mike McCall of Tampa, Florida; a great-grandson, Brice Keeling of Delphos, Ohio; a great-granddaughter, Alyssa Keeling of Delphos, Ohio; and a daughter-in-law, Sally McCall of Delphos, Ohio. She was preceded in death by a son, Larry E. McCall; and three sisters, Thelma Baum, Juanita Maitlon and Pauline Baker. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at Forest Park United Methodist Church. The Rev. Derick Russell will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
