Mildred “Mid” Opal Roush

100, died peacefully at 9:50 AM on Thursday, February 15, 2018, at her daughter’s home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Mildred was born on June 28, 1917, in Charleston, West Virginia, to the late Homer Morgan  and Nellie  (O'Dell) Morgan.  On December 2, 1939, in Ohio, she was married to her beloved husband Merle Ray Roush for 60 years who preceded her in death on May 31, 1999.

She retired from First Federal Savings & Loan in 1982.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Lima, OH, social member of the BPOE #54, Lima, OH, member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie Aux. #370, member of Eastern Star, also volunteered for over 10 years at Lima Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.

She was blessed with a family that loved her dearly.  She is survived by her children, Michael Ray (Sally) Roush, of Russells Point, OH, and Linda Jean Morgan, of  Fort Lauderdale, FL; a brother, George Morgan, of Lima, OH; four grandchildren, Shelly Booth, Brett Boblitt, Shawn (Dawn) Roush, Sara Roush; three great grandchildren, Savanna Booth, Michael Grayson Roush, and Annabella Boblitt.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry Morgan, and Frederick “Gene” Morgan, Ray Morgan, a sister-in-law, Janice Morgan, and a daughter-in-law, Darla Weasel Roush.

Mid will be remember by her friends and family for her kindness and her beautiful smile. She loved playing cards with her family and in later years she loved traveling.

The family will receive friends from 9-11 A.M. on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A funeral service will begin at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the funeral home.  Rev. Bryan Bucher will officiate.

Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made to Lima Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
