Miriam Jean (Bame) Snyder

89, went home to be with the Lord, at 3:24 PM on Monday, April 23, 2018, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, Ohio.

Miriam was born on November 28, 1928, in Hancock County, Ohio, to the late Lawrence F.  Bame and Ellen (Corbin) Bame.  On Saturday, April 26, 1947, in Covington, KY, she married Howard Jason Snyder who survives in Elida.

Miriam had worked at Marathon and Allen East Schools. She loved to garden and was famous for her cookies, flowers, and crocheting. Miriam loved the Lord and had a heart of gold, she was loved deeply and will be truly missed by her friends and family.

She is survived by two sons, James Allan (Barbara) Snyder,  Tim Lee Snyder, and two  daughters, Linda Sue Deitler, and Martha Jean Vigh; ten grandchildren, Krisy,  Jason, Angela,  Joy, Jeff,  Sondra, Cory, Dustin, Tammie, Sarah; four step grandchildren, Trey, Carin, David and Kayla; seventeen great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 27, 2018 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 27 at  Chamberlain Huckeriede Funeral Home.

Interment will be in Elm Grove Cemetery, Marion Township, Hancock County, Findlay, OH.
