MYRTLE MAE THOMAS LOUTH, 95, died at 6:19 p.m. February 26, 2005, at Beverly Health Care. She was born October 15, 1909 in Vaughnsville to Peter and Dula Dresky Seitz, who preceded her in death. On June 24, 1929, in Kentucky, she married Ray G. Thomas, who died August 11, 1948. On July 12, 1963, in Spencerville, she married Donald L. Louth, who died on March 12, 1994. Mrs. Louth was a switchboard operator for the telephone company in Gomer, Lima Memorial Hospital (Lima Memorial Health System) and the Elida Telephone Company. Survivors include two daughters, Betty & Bud Vandemark of Elida, Ohio and Marlene & Guy Devasher of Lima, Ohio; two stepsons, Robert Louth of Venedocia, Ohio and Russel Louth of Spencerville; a daughter-in-law, Mary Thomas of Lima, Ohio; a sister, Blanche Jameson of Findlay, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Mildred Price of Rimer, Ohio; and 20 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great- great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Wendell D. Thomas; a brother, Charlie Seitz; a step-daughter-in-law, Margie Louth and a daughter-in-law, Shirley Thomas. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at Ottawa River church of God, Rimer, Ohio. The Revs. Mark Walls and Martin Swanton will officiate. Burial will be in the Ottawa River Cemetery, Rimer, Ohio. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. today at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home and one hour prior to services Thursday at the church.
