Nancy L. Bailey

Nancy L. Bailey, 70, died at 6:25 PM on Sunday, December 02, 2018, at Mercy Health-St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, surrounded by her loving family.

Nancy was born on June 13, 1948, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Henry J.  Conley and Mary Louise (Hannon) Conley.  On November 25, 1970, she married Kenneth Bailey, he preceded her in death on March 17, 2010.

She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church. She graduated from Lima Central Catholic in 1966. Nancy previously worked for K-Mart, St. Rose School Cafeteria, and Veterans Memorial Civic and Convention Center. She also was a member of the Allen County Democratic Women's Club.

She is survived by two brothers, Thom (Roberta) Conley, of Westerville, OH, and John (Carolyn) Conley, of Lima, OH; one sister, Jan (Frank) Terry, of Lima, OH; three sisters-in-law, Connie Hime, of Lander, WY, Pam Sinica, of Lima, OH, and Carol Bailey of Waynesfield, OH,  a brother-in-law, Bill Bailey, of Sacramento, CA; many nieces & nephews, cousins, and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer, a sister-in-law, Patricia (Tuohy) Conley, and three brothers-in-law, Larry Bailey, Dan Shively, and Jim Hime.

A Public Celebration of Nancy’s Life will be held at the Knights of Columbus, 810 S. Cable Rd. Lima, Ohio on Thursday Dec. 27, 2018 from 12pm to 3pm.
