Nancy Joan "Nancy Jo" Greer, 70, of Lima, died at 3:20 a.m. Oct. 21, 2007, at her residence. She was born Nov. 5, 1936, in Lima to John E. and Beatrice L. Medaugh Smith, who preceded her in death. On June 3, 1972, she married C. Blake Greer, who died Aug. 19, 2000. Greer was a member of the Lima Trinity United Methodist Church. She worked at Baldwin-Lima Hamilton, Lima Electric, and Duff Truck Line. She also was a teachers aide for Lima public schools and was very active with Encore Theatre. She was also a 24-gallon blood donor for the American Red Cross. She was interested in genealogy and she discovered her family was one of the first families to settle in Allen County. She was a Daughter of the American Revolution. Survivors include two sons, Richard (Becky) Schramm, of Bremerton, Wash., and David (Carol) Schramm, of Georgetown, Ky.; a daughter, Kim Schramm, of Cridersville; and six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard E. Smith. Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Trinity United Methodist Church. The Rev. James Kuhn will officiate.
