Natalie Jean Kidwell, 68, died at 9:30 p.m. June 14, 2008, at her residence. She was born October 31, 1939, in West Jefferson, Ohio to Henry and Vergie Clouser Rice. On December 22, 1961, in West Jefferson she married James Kidwell, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mrs. Kidwell graduated from West Jefferson Local School District in 1957, where she attended grades 1 though 12. She worked as manager at Catherine's, a ladies clothing store, for 19 years, retiring in 2006. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Lima. Her family was her life. She was a wonderful friend to many. She loved life and fashion. Survivors also include a daughter, Katherine Kidwell, of Lima, Ohio; a son, Chris (Peg) Kidwell, of McGuffey, Ohio; a sister, Marilyn (Ray) Sheerin, of Plain City, Ohio; two grandchildren, Chase Nichols and Tia Nichols; and caregiver and friend Janet Crish, of Lima, Ohio. Services will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Jean Horn will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
