Nicholas "Nick" L. Runser
30, died at 11:03 AM on Sunday, August 7, 2016, at his residence in Lima, Ohio.

Nick was born on January 3, 1986, in Irving, Texas. He is the son of Roger Runser and Beth (Bosch) Runser, both parents survive in Lima. On Saturday, October 18, 2014, he married Jessica (Short) Runser, who survives in Lima.

Nick loved his boys and his wife so much, he was very proud of his family. Nick graduated from Bath High School in 2004. He had served in the Army Reserves and was very proud of his time doing so serving a tour in Iraq. He really enjoyed spending time with friends and was always the life of the party. He enjoyed playing golf and loved music and playing the guitar.

He is survived by two sons, Kaleb Runser and Reese Runser; mother-in-law Tonya (Marshall Bowden) Sigler; father-in-law, Chris (Tina Young) Short; maternal grandfather, Michael Bosch Sr.; grandparents, Robert (Carolyn) Charles, Harold (Donna) Short; Brother Joseph (Alicia Green) Runser, Sister Emily (Blake) Lundy; Siblings-in -law- Madeline (Kevin Miller) Short, Austin McKinney, Christian Short, Drake Short, Victoria Hook, Daphne Hook, Michael Hook; nieces and nephew, Swayzee Lundy, Meya Miller, Kevin Miller Jr; aunts and uncles Bill (Nancy) Runser, Bev (Tim) Shimp, Lloyd (Diani) Runser, Mike (Judy) Bosch, Matt (Diana) Bosch, Jenn Klaus, Dan (Alicia) Bosch and Corrie (Craig) Swank; numerous cousins and his military friends.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Toots Bosch; paternal grandparents, Bill (Claribel) Runser; a cousin, Justin Runser; and special family friend, Karen Mayer.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, August 12, 2016 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.

A funeral service will begin at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at the funeral home. Chaplain David MacDonald will officiate.

Interment will be in Bluelick Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kaleb and Reese's College Fund.
