NINA MARIE BARNES, 88, died at 1 p.m. July 5, 2005, at St. Rita's Medical Center. She was born April 5, 1917, in Allen County, to Silas Guy and Carrie Struble Hasson, who preceded her in death. On July 28, 1951, she married William F. Barnes, who died March 26, 1988. Mrs. Barnes was a beautician and a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Eastern Stars Chapter 26 in Delphos and the Allen County Senior Citizens AARP. Survivors include a stepson, James Barnes of Mentor,Ohio; a sister, Gert Gilden of Delphos, Ohio; a nephew, Jerry (Teresa) Gilden of Delphos, Ohio; two nieces, Denise (Daniel) Cook of Gomer and Kerrie (Phil) Harrison of Spencerville, Ohio; several step great-grandchildren and several great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by six brothers, Guy Hasson, Victor Hasson, Paul Hasson, Ruben Hasson, Cloyd Hasson and Donald Hasson; and two sisters, Geneva Leis and Dorothy Koch. Services will begin at 11 a.m. today at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Richard Cook will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
