Nondys Noreen "Nan" Dunlap, 78, died at 12:45 a.m. March 6, 2009, at her residence. She was born March 25, 1930, in Flint, Mich., to Charles and Lucille Kirkendall Sherrard, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Dunlap retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a clerk/sorter. She graduated from Vaughnsville High School. She was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking and holidays, especially St. Patrick's Day. A special thanks to St. Rita's Hospice. Survivors include two sons, Rick (Mary) Pryer, of Bluffton, and Kevin (Jeanie) Rader, of Continental; three daughters, Lynette Rader, of Lima, Kay (Frank) Woody, of Doylestown, and Kelly (John) Hershberger, of Delphos; 11 grandchildren, Jason (Tanya) Pryer, of Perrysburg, Kevin (Tricia) Rader, of Lima, Jeremy (Jaime Koeffel) Pryer, of Canton, Donald Rader, of Lima, Amy (Trent) Gossett, of Delphos, Brian (Roxanne) Rader, of Lima, Shawn (Tina) Hershberger, of Lima, Erin (Craig) Bauman, of Lima, Daniel Woody, of Doylestown, Jamie (Kyle Gerber) Woody, of Doylestown, and David Woody; 14 great-grandchildren, Donnie Rader, Dylan Pryer, Kylie Gossett, Kevin Rader, Taylor Hershberger, Grant Pryer, Jennifer Pryer, Alexis Gossett, Chloe Rader, Brayden Pryer, Logan Gossett, Jameson Rader, Jack Rader and Katrina Bauman; three great-grandchildren are expected in 2009; a brother, Marlen (Caroline) Sherrard, of Aiken, S.C.; three sisters-in-law, Peggy Sherrard, of Vaughnsville, Pat Miller, of Bluffton, and Dorothy Dunlap, of Rimer; special friends Joyce Brown and Ellie Schuey; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Terry A. Sherrard. Services will begin at noon Tuesday at Salem Mennonite Church, Elida. The Rev. Mel Hathaway will officiate.
