Norma Jane Miller,
88 of Lima, Ohio died on Saturday, January 14, 2012, at 5:40 A.M. at Lima Memorial Health System in Lima, Ohio.
Born Sunday, September 16, 1923 in Blackcreek Township, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Dale Roebuck and the late Bernice Anselman Roebuck.
She was employed by Westinghouse in the Clerk Office.
She was a WWII Veteran and served in the Women's Army Corps from 1944 until 1946 as a cryptographic technician.
Norma married Theodore A. Miller on January 3, 1946; he preceded her in death on May 5, 2001. She was a member of: the Cable Rd Alliance Church where she was very involved, the Women's Alliance Missionary Group, the American Legion Post 96 and she was a Life member of DAV Auxiliary.
Surviving are: daughters, Jane Annette (Roy) Painter of Lima, OH and Sue (Bud) Rogers of New Concord, KY; 2 grandchildren, Ted (Katy) Painter of Columbus, Ohio and Brian Thiel of Groton, Connecticut; and three great grandchildren, Isiah, Mackenzie and Jacob.
She was predeceased by brothers, Don Dale Roebuck and Doyle Eugene Roebuck.
A funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home with the Pastor Ronald Jones officiating.
Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, OH. Graveside military honors will be conducted by VFW Post 1275
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, January 17, 2012, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
