Norman Edwin Good, 84, of Lima, and formerly of Elida, died at 10:40 AM, Thursday, September 13, 2012, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
Born Sunday, August 5, 1928, in Elida, Ohio, he was the son of the late Menno Good and the late Eunice Diltz Good
On February 22, 1951 he married Alice Brubaker and she preceded him in death.
He served in the Army from 1951 until 1953 and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a graduate of Elida High School and had worked as a general laborer around the Lima area.
Surviving are: four sons, Donald Good of Atlanta, GA, Michael Good and Timothy Good both of Continental and Randy Good of Pompano Beach, FL; a brother, LaVerne Good of Leo, IN, and a sister, Elouise King of Elida, OH.
He was preceded in death by: two sisters, Beulah Good and Charlene Good; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Alvardo; sister-in-law, Alverta Good and a grand-daughter Jennifer Good.
Graveside Services will be held Monday, September 17, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Salem Mennonite Cemetery, Elida with Rev. David Elkins officiating. There will be military honors conducted by Veterans Foreign Wars Post #1275.
There will be no visitation.
