Oakley L. Webb, 70, died at 2:12 a.m. November 23, 2008, at Twin Rivers Care and Rehabilitation, Defiance, Ohio. He was born March 20, 1938, in Pineville, Kentucky, to William M. and Zona Daniel Webb, who preceded him in death. On February 23, 1964, he married Sara ?Jane? Spicer, who survives in Oakwood, Ohio. Mr. Webb retired in 1997 after 25 years at General Motors. He was a member of Continental Missionary Baptist Church. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing with his sons and grandsons, and gardening. Survivors also include three daughters, Kim (John) Fackelman, of Marysville, Ohio, Beth (Tim) Pothast, of Plain City, Ohio, and Tammy Webb, of Pilger, Nebraska; three sons, Jim (Sherry) Webb, of Oakwood, Ohio, Ron (Brenda) Webb, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and Don Webb, of Arlington, Kentucky; two brothers Larry (Elaine) Webb, of Delphos, Ohio, and Allery (Anne) Webb, of Columbus, Ohio; a sister, Frankie Thompson, of Columbus, Indiana; and 17 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Burnley Webb, R.V. Webb, Tava Webb, Joe Webb and Rondel Webb; and four sisters, Velma Griffith, Maureen Evans, Nellie Rohrer and Cassie Vaughn. Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Lima Missionary Baptist Church. Alva Daniel and Ray Newsome will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.
