Oland Neiford

OLAND NEIFORD, 79, died at 3:22 a.m. February 12, 2006, at St. Rita's Medical Center. He was born April 28, 1926, in Elgin, Ohio to Percy and Eva Welker Neiford, who preceded him in death. Mr. Neiford retired as a production/purchasing agent from Superior Wholesale Distributors. He was a graduate of International College of Fort Wayne, Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he received a professional accounting degree. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving from August 28, 1943, to March 23, 1946. He was an avid golfer. Survivors include three sons, Joseph O. Neiford of Seattle, Raymond M. (Sabrina) Neiford of Elida, Ohio and Brian (Kara) Neiford of Miamisburg; four daughters, Linda (William) Folland of West Olive, Michigan, Susan (Daniel) Sever of Delphos, Ohio, Jonelle (Jon) McKee of Wapakoneta, Ohio and Nanci (Bryan) Lindholz of Springboro; a sister, Dorothy (Dale) Burley of Fostoria, Ohio; 19 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Barbara Neiford of Florida. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred and Neil Neiford. Private family services will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation.
