Olga P. Pope, 97 of Lima, Ohio died on Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at the Primrose Retirement Center in Lima, Ohio.
Born Friday, January 28, 1916 in Vishini, Macedonia, She was the daughter of the late "Tom" Tarpen Popoff and the late Elena (Rogee) Popoff. She was the wife of the late Seraphim Pope.
She was a homemaker and a 43 year volunteer "Gray Lady" at St. Ritas. She was a former member of Christ Church Episcopal and currently was a member of Church of the Holy Nativity. She was voted Ms. Primrose by the residents of Primrose in 2011. She loved the residents and the caring staff there. For the last seven years Primrose had truly become her home.
Surviving are: daughters, Patti (Barry) Hardy of Lima, OH and Karen (Dr. Ed) Flickinger of Glen, NH: six grandchildren,Seraph Garner & Carla Flickinger, Heidi T. and Gavin Flickinger,Carrie (Flickinger) & Matt Diana, Trey & Heather Hardy, Bryan & Tricia (Hardy) Mahoney, Tyler & Gina Hardy; twelve great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She was predeceased by brother, Charles Popoff.
Friends may call at the Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home on Sunday, February 17, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February18, 2013, at 11:00 am , at the Church of the Holy Nativity. The Very Reverand Dr. Richard T. Palmer - Dean and Vicar of Holy Nativity Anglican Pro Cathedral officiating.
Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Lima.
