Oliver Franklin Marsteller , 93, passed away at 4:00 am on Sunday, December 26, 2021, at Vancrest of Ada.
Oliver was born on May 7, 1928, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Lewis Clark and Mabel Lucille (Frankenfield) Marsteller. He married Phyllis (Protsman) Marsteller, who preceded him in death on July 6, 2021.
Oliver retired from Ford Motor Company as an inspector and was the Co-Owner of Cable Real Estate. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, the outdoors and camping. Oliver enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his children, Carol (Gregg) Roth, David (Teresa) Marsteller, and Brenda (Richard) Bolender; his grandchildren, Scott (Georgia) Roth, Amy (Nicholas) Hohenberger, Brian (Shelby) Marsteller, Kevin (Alexandria) Marsteller, Kymberlyn (Scott) Baldwin, and Samuel Bankert; and great-grandchildren, Matthew, Gabrielle, Emily, Jacob, Esmeralda, Branson, Madison, Noah, Owen, Jaralyn, Caleb and Oliver
Along with his parents and wife he was preceded in death by his siblings, Ellen Lucille Treadway, Anna Belle Bible, Delores June Drennen, Eugene Clark Marsteller, and Harold Eugene Marsteller.
The family will receive friends from 5 pm to 7 pm on Sunday, January 2, 2022, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. A graveside service will begin at 1:30 pm on Monday January 3, 2022 at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima. Rev. Dr. Timothy White will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Veteran’s Food Pantry.
