Orville Ferguson

ORVILLE K. FERGUSON, 81, died at 4:51 a.m. February 19, 2005, at St. Rita's Medical Center. He was born March 13, 1923, in Cairo to Orma K. and Minnie (Foster) Ferguson. On January 1, 1947, he married Doris A. (Willeke) Ferguson, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mr. Ferguson worked for Crane Co. and enjoyed bowling in a senior league. He served in the U.S. Army from April 2, 1943, to March 1, 1944. Survivors also include three sons, Dennis (Darlene) Ferguson, Kim (Debra) Ferguson and Chuck (Colleen) Ferguson, all of Lima, Ohio; five grandchildren, Monica (Joe) Hale of Lima, Ohio, Tina (Shane) Leuthold of Bucyrus, Ohio, Kristina Ferguson of Lima, Ohio, Aaron Ferguson of Lima, Ohio and Sara Ferguson of Lima, Ohio; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Rick A. and Rachel Marie Ferguson. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. Gary Hohman will officiate. Burial will be in Cairo West Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Lima Rescue Mission at 216 E. Wayne St., Lima, OH 45801.
