Pamela J. Hempker 45, died at 7:50 a.m. July 17, 2007, at her residence. She was born December 30, 1961, in Lima, Ohio to William and Dorothe Hoeper Mosier. Her father survives in Indiana. Her mothers survives in Lima, Ohio. Ms. Hempker was a certified professional coder for the Orthopaedic Institute of Ohio, for nine years, and had also worked at the Kewpee on Allentown Road, for nine years. She was a member of First Evangelical & Reformed Church. She was president of the local chapter of the American Academy of Professional Coders. She was a 1980 graduate of Lima Senior High School. She enjoyed taking her son to look for trains and taking him on train rides. Survivors also include a son, James Harnishfeger, at home; a brother, Robert (Teresa) Mosier, of Kentucky; a sister, Lynda K. Smith, of Lima, Ohio; two nieces, Billie (Steve) Stearns and Jocelyn L. Smith, both of Lima, Ohio; a nephew, Matthew R. Mosier, of Kentucky; two greatnephews; two great-nieces; a special aunt, Phyllis Evans, of Lima, Ohio; and several friends and co-workers at OIO and Kewpee. She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents; paternal grandparents; and three uncles, infant twins and her favorite, Garth Evans. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. Pastor Edward Rinehart will officiate. Burial will be in Pilger-Ruhe Cemetery, New Knoxville, Ohio. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the handicap addition at First Evangelical & Reformed Church; Memorial Garden, 320 W.
