Patricia Ann Everhardt Jones

Patricia Ann Everhardt Jones, 78, died August 17, 2013, in St. Petersburg, FL, after a three year battle with cancer. She was born September 20, 1934, to Charles and Iona Cunningham in Lima, OH. Patricia and Robert Leroy Everhardt were married April 8, 1951. During their early marriage, while living in Austin, TX, Bob and Pat received the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior and were baptized. In 1985, they moved from their home in Lima, OH to Treasure Island, FL to live closer to her daughter Stephanie Dodds. Her husband Robert Everhardt died in March, 1992.

Patricia was a 1952 graduate of South High School. She remained in touch with her close friends and attended many class reunions. She enjoyed China painting, entertaining, cooking, traveling, crossword puzzles, shopping and art. Patricia worked as a floral designer in Treasure Island at Benjamin's Bouquet.

Patricia married Oscar Jones on October 15, 1994, and they moved to their current home in Madeira Beach, FL. In their 20 years together, they enjoyed many vacations and gatherings with their family and friends. Patricia and Oscar also loved worshipping at The Church by the Sea in Madeira Beach, FL.

Patricia is survived by one daughter, Stephanie Dodds, in Treasure Island, FL; a daughter-in-law, Stephanie Everhardt, in Indian Lake, OH; one grandson, Chad Everhardt, in Lima, OH; one granddaughter, Jamie (Rob)Frost, in Lima, OH; four great grandchildren, Kaleb and Korbin Everhardt and Kayla and Jacob Frost; and two sisters, Charlene Ballentine of Osprey, FL and Deloris Nierescher of MI. and a special niece, Beth Ballentine, Treasure Island, FL.

She is also survived by two stepdaughters, Joyce (Brad) Buetner and Carol (Jeff) Jones of Elida, OH; three step grandchildren, Bradley (Brittney) Buetner of Lima, OH; Josh (Joy) Buetner of Elida, OH; and Brooke (John)Zerbe of Spencerville, OH; ten step great grandchildren, Brey, Baylor, Daulton, Dylan, Alivia, Brodey, Blake, and Brinklee Buetner, and Claire and Zack Zerbe; and one step great great grandson, Bryce Logan
Buetner.

Patricia's son Kevin Everhardt preceded her in death 2011. Her son-in-law Danny Dodds also preceded her in death in 2013.

The Family will receive family and friends at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home on Thursday, August 22 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. The funeral service will be at 11 A.M. on Friday, August 23, 2013 at the Funeral Home, with John Zerbe officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
