71 of Lima, Ohio died on Friday, April 27, 2012, at 8:36 p.m.at Lima Memorial Health System in Lima, Ohio.
Born Wednesday, August 7, 1940 in Bluffton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Joseph H. Gerdemann and the late Martha Pohlman Gerdemann Porter.
Patricia married Jack R. Monday on October 1, 1970, in Lima, Ohio, he preceded her in death. She had worked for the Allen County Children's Home as their cook. She was an Avon Rep. for over 20 years. She was an avid Bingo player, enjoyed church festivals, Bible readings, and traveling.
Surviving are: a brother, Thomas (Kathleen) Gerdemann of Orlando, FL; two sisters, Mary (Ron) Grothaus of Toledo, OH and Dorothy Woods of Lima, OH; four nephews, Chris, Mike, Rory and Mark; three nieces, Heather, Michelle, Lisa; eight great nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by: a step father, Bill Porter; two brothers, Kenny Gerdemann and Carl Gerdemann.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, May 3, 2012, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 4, 2012 at St. Gerard's Catholic Church.
Interment will be in Gethsemani Cemetery, Lima, OH.
