Patricia Moore

Patricia A. Moore , 84, died at 1:45 a.m. March 14, 2009, at the Ridge at Shawnee. She was born September 11, 1924, in St. Paul, Minnisota, to Raymond and Alice Remer Johns. On March 18, 1950, she married Robert W. Moore, who died May 27, 1970. Mrs. Moore retired in 2005 as a receptionist from Cooperative Extension Service. She was a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church, an avid Cincinnati Reds and Bengals fan and she loved listening to and watching their games. She loved music, especially from the Big Band Era and was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who will forever be treasured by her family. Survivors include two sons, Christopher (Kathy) Moore and Jeffery Moore, both of Lima, Ohio; three daughters, Susan Moore, Pamela Cotter and Patricia Moore, all of Lima, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Katie Moore, Leighann Moore, Ty Moore, Casey Moore, Jennifer Reid, Adam Reid, Samantha Cotter and Cole Cotter; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and William Johns. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Gerard Catholic Church. The Rev. James McDonald will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, where a wake service will begin at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Gerard Catholic Church, 240 W.
