Patricia Shenk Newland,

87, passed away at 3:16 AM on Saturday, March 19, 2016, at Lima Memorial Health System in Lima.

Patricia was born on Saturday, March 16, 1929, in Elida, Ohio, to the late Noah and Frances (Bessire) Shenk. On, August 8, 1948 she married Don L. Newland Sr. who preceded her in death July 27, 1994.

Patricia was a member of Rousculp Church of Christ for 59 years and a member of their Ladies Aide.

She is survived by: daughters, Jamie K. Newland, Lima, Lana (John) Lowry, Wapakoneta and Beth (Randy) Ridenour, Lima; son, Greg A. Newland, Celina; thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; sisters, Connie Strayer, Elida, Shirley (Dwaine) Hall, Amherst, OH and Kay Fowler, Lima.

She is preceded in death by: son, Don L Newland, Jr. and sister, Jean Follas.

Friends may call 5 to 8 P.M. on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 and one hour prior to the service at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.

A memorial service will begin at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima. Pastor Kenny Rader will officiate. Burial of ashes will be in Memorial Park.
