Patricia "Pat" M. Sharik

Patricia M. “Pat” Sharik, 81, of Lima, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 6:17 a.m. at Lima Convalescent Home.

Pat was born on December 22, 1936 in Chicago, IL to the late Theodore and Helen {Kott} Przybytek.

She married William Edward Sharik who preceded her in death. Her and William had 5 children: Bill (Janet) Sharik, Scott (Sally) Sharik, Sue (Russ) House, Ted Sharik, and Terry Sharik (deceased). She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren: Lucas Eakins, Willow Sharik, and Grayson Sharik, and siblings: Judy (Jerry) Anderson, Jim (Kate) Przybytek, and Viv (Ted) Guest.

Strong in Persistence and Perseverance – that was Mom!

Through the best and the worst of times,

self-pity never had a place in mom’s strategy for living,

nor in her vocabulary.

She always urged us to look ahead and

do the best with what we had.

Thank you Mom for your remarkable example!

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Marion Hills Bible Church, 142 Plainfiled Road, Darien, IL. Burial of ashes will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL.
