Paul Cronican

Paul V. Cronican, 62, died November 20, 2010, at Lima Memorial Health System. He was born Novembr 27, 1947, in Worcester, Mass., to Richard and Therese McGee Cronican, who preceded him in death. On October 30, 1971, he married Kathy Stewart, who survives in Lima, Ohio. Mr. Cronican retired as a manager from BP Chemicals after 38 years. He then became a consultant for ABB Consulting Firm for six years. He received his bachelor?s degree in chemical engineering from Lowell Tech University, Lowell, Mass. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed reading and loved to follow the Boston Red Sox. Survivors also include two sons, Sean (Nicci) Cronican, of Folsom, California, and Dan (Shane) Cronican, of Cincinnati; a daughter, Lisa (fianc? Ryan Walker) Cronican, of Chicago; three grandchildren, Ambrose, Annabelle and Rielley; two brothers, James Cronican and Steven Cronican; and a sister, Martha Greene. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Gerard Catholic Church. Father Joy Poonoly will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery, with military rites by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275. Friends may call from noon to 2 and 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
