Pearl Phillip Dorst

Pearl Phillip Dorst, 62, passed away at his residence at 6:10 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2023, and went home to be with his Lord.

Phil was born on October 15, 1960 in Lancaster, Ohio, to Stanley Eugene and Sharon Kay (Landis) Dorst.  He married Shirley Dorst who preceded him in death on December 3, 2011

Phil loved to read and do crossword puzzles.

He is survived by a stepdaughter, Maggie (Robert Frash) Cordle: grandchildren: Noah Cordle, Gail Kinney, and Scott Cordle; five great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Leilani (Bob) Beery; two nephews and one niece; and his dog, Spike.  In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and beloved dog, Little Red.

A funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at St. Stephen Orthodox Church.  Burial will follow at Shawnee Cemetery, Lima.
