Peggy Jo Krick

December 25, 1941 — April 1, 2016

Peggy Jo Krick,
74, stepped onto the Streets of Gold at 1:30 am on Friday, April 01, 2016, at Roselawn Manor Nursing Home in Spencerville.
Peggy was born on December 25, 1941 in Lima to the late John and Thelma (Clevenger) Moyler. On September 16, 1990, she married the love of her life, Michael Krick, who survives in Lima.
Peggy had an undeniable passion for Christ and shared it with everyone she met. She was a staple of the church community for most of her life. She had a tender heart for people less fortunate than herself and was always looking for ways to help others. Peggy was proud to be the best hair stylist in town, running her own salon, Classy Clippers, for 8 years where she loved to socialize with her "little ladies." Peggy was the life of any party with her sense of humor and took great joy in spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her and her husband loved their monthly sibling dinners.
Peggy was blessed to find the greatest love here on Earth when she met and married her soul mate and birthday mate, Mike. Their partnership was the epitome of selfless, never-ending love. Mike's eyes never stopped sparkling for Peggy as he saw her through all the happy and hard times of her life.
Peggy is survived by daughters Elizabeth Dunahay and Kathleen Clayton, son Joseph McMichael, and step-daughter Stacey Gregory; grandchildren Jessica (Jamie) Compton, Steven (Laurie) Dunahay, Andrew (Lindsey) Dunahay, Heather (Jonas Jones) Clayton, Haylee Dunahay, Jordan Remy, Kenyan Remy, Amber Stapleton, Zachary Gregory, and Trey Hunter; great-grandchildren Shaylen Compton, Alex and Morgan Dunahay, Lucas, Aiden, Gabriel, and Benjamin Dunahay, and Autumn, Cameron and Giana Jones; brother Robert Moyler; sister Jenis Engle, and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by son David McMichael; sister Patricia Pugh; brothers Jack Moyler and George Richard Moyler; sisters-in-law Fran Moyler and Jackie Moyler; and brother-in-law Dan Engle.
A funeral service will begin at 2 pm on Tuesday, April 5 at New Hope Christian Center, 2240 Baty Rd in Lima with Pastor Jim Menke officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-7 pm Monday, April 4th at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home and 1 hour before the service on Tuesday at the church. Interment will be in Memorial Park.
